Picnic: Toddler Style and MMA: Baby Style

Today my friend Melissa and I met up at the park near my house for a little picnic.  

We brought our kids.  

Obviously.

 She has 2 boys that are just adorable chunky little guys!  Joshua is just a couple months younger than Peyton, and Samuel is just a couple months younger than Vandis.  So fun!

Toddlers turn picnics into an experience that involves so much than just BBQ chicken and fresh fruit. Because really, what's a picnic without a little grass, dirt, and teeny tiny critters?

While Melissa hung out with the "big" kids on the playground, I got to hang out with these two mostly immobile friends. 

They started doing what boys tend to do.  Wrestle.

 Not so sure that biting is allowed in the octagon there Vandis.

Now, I may be a little biased here, but it looks like my guy is winning.

It could have something to do with the 7 more weeks of training that he has had here on earth.

That, and the fact that he can roll over.  Which is a pretty big deal in the baby MMA relm.

In the end, Vandis put Samuel in a baby arm bar and won the fight.  You'll get him next time Sammy!

Now to rest those dirty post-match baby boy feet.

Much deserved after a hard-earned win :)
