Laid Back Day

Today was good. Relaxing, but not lazy. Productive, but not crazy. And that rhyme just made it better. For you too? Thought so :)

My mom came by today to kill an hour before Costco and Aldi opened, so I got to take a long shower and get ready without interruptions. Then she ended up taking Peyton with her to the store! Awesome! Vandis slept and I watched the season finale of Glee which was so cute! Usually I only like Glee for the songs, but this episode was really cute.

The kids and I met up with my friend Ria at a tattoo place to bring in some artwork for an appointment that Ryan and I have during Ryan's 2 week leave. Ria recommended this place, and I'm glad she did :) It looks great and I think we'll be all set to get inked on June 27th... oooohhhhh boy! (More about the tattoos in another post :))

This is turning into a really laid back post. And I only care a little bit. Definitely not enough to try and change it.

After a quick dinner, we took a quick walk with our neighbor Sammy to Caribou and then came back to our house to get to know each other a little bit. We have been neighbors for almost 2 years and have talked about getting together so many times and FINALLY made it happen tonight. I'm glad we did. :)

You know that feeling you get before you hang out with someone for the first time? The whole..."oh man I hope this isn't awkward" feeling? Well I totally had that... and it TOTALLY wasn't! It was a lot of fun! Peyton really loved it too :) I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of each other now that the ice is officially broken :) Oh, did I mention that she and her husband are Christians? No? Well they totally are! How great is that? So fun.

I'm not a fan of this post... but I'm going to post it "as is" anyways because I have scripts to write and a book to read!
