This is me after I realized that I had just arrived to my very own surprise baby shower (Thanks Ria for taking pictures, you are the best!) for my little guy coming in just a few weeks. My friends totally pulled this off and it was so much fun to be surprised!
We are naming this baby, our first son, Vandis Thomas and we'll be calling him Van for short... so obviously this means that when my friend Jillian made the cake she made it into the shape of a...
Van! So fun!
All of the games we played were so fun... for one of them all the girls had to draw a picture of what they thought Vandis is going to look like, and then (since "Vandis" is a made up name and has no actual meaning) make up a name meaning.

Here is me holding one of the girl's masterpieces. :) Great job ladies!
Some fun news that I got to announce at this girls night turned baby shower is that I have scheduled my induction! I had a regular pregnancy appointment the day before Ryan left and we asked the Doctor if it would be at all possible to schedule an induction a little bit early so that I could fly my friend (who is a nurse living in Tulsa) up here so she could be with me during labor. He said that it was a good possibility and that he would let me know closer to my due date. Well, when I went to the Doctor on Monday, he said that he feels comfortable scheduling an induction for the 22nd! Baby Van will be born on March 22nd (possibly March 23rd... when we induced Peyton, she didn't come till the next day)! I am beyond excited :)
I got LOTS of cute things for my new baby boy... these girls have fantastic taste! I loved EVERYTHING! Little boy clothes are so so cute! I feel so blessed to have such amazing friends that would do this for me. Thank you all so much... I love you all :)
