So... much... hoagie...

Do you subscribe to things like Groupon or Crowd Cut? Basically, they are just companies that email you a daily deal of something (think hotels, restaurants, coffee, chocolate, flowers... and some really random things too) so you end up spending half (usually less) of the cost. I think get 5 or 6 different ones a day... and I rarely buy anything haha. Nevertheless, it is fun to see the deals and once in a while it is totally something that is SO worth it!

My most recent deal was something that was FREE! Yes, free :) My favorite! As a member of crowd cut already, I was asked to invite someone else via email to be a member of crowd cut. If they accepted then we both got a FREE HOAGIE from Davanni's. Sounded delish! Even though I had never been there before I jumped at this chance for free food :)

So what I did may have been slightly illegal... but it was done. I logged into my email and invited one of Ryan's email accounts that he made and never used (2 free hoagies) and then logged into Ryan's email account (he is already a member of crowd cut) and invited ANOTHER email account that he made and never used (2 more free hoagies). So all in all we got 4 free hoagies. Now, this would have made more sense if he didn't leave me before we could use these coupons... and would have made even more sense if I hadn't forgotten about them until this weekend when my friend had one too that she needed to use by Sunday... because they expire. Ohh... yeah, expiration dates. Huh... interesting.

So what did me and my friend do with our 5 free hoagie coupons?

Plan A: Get 3 more people to come to lunch with us after Church.
Result: No one could/would come that we asked :(

Plan B: Go to lunch and get hoagies and then go to dinner and get hoagies.
Result: Success, I now have LOTS of hoagie in my belly, and calories to last me DAAAAYS... and days.

We did have 1 extra coupon still but we were able to give it to someone in line at our dinner run. I'm sure she was thankful and that way we weren't tempted to "just get one for lunch tomorrow... I mean come on... it's FREE" Thank God for that lady in line!

In between our calorie intakes we Skyped our friend Alissa who is a teacher in El Paso, Texas, and also went and saw Tangled in the cheap theater... so so so so cuuuuute!!! I LOVED it waaaay more than I thought I would, it was an OLD SCHOOL DISNEY PRINCESS MOVIE... does not get any better than that!

OFF TOPIC RYAN UPDATE

Ryan leaves New Mexico tomorrow to start his 2 day travel adventure over to K-stan. He has not had Internet the past 2 days and the cell service where he is, is not good... at all. Basically we have been texing a few times a day and that. is. it. I know, I am so spoiled that I even get to talk to him that much, but I am thankful that it will be more than that by tomorrow.

He is excited to...

get over there and get settled in his room with his roommate and not be sharing a room with 10 other guys.
be able to get a schedule down of what he will be doing everyday instead of having so much free time.
just start living what will turn into "normal" for the next year.
I am excited for him to...
be able to do all of the above things.
start getting Internet again so we can Skype!!!
If you think about him tomorrow, please pray for SAFE TRAVELS for him and his team.
