Why Don't We Always Wear Cute Hats, Minnesotans?

When I was in Georgia at the beginning of this month, my friend Jillian and I hung out with her Midwestern turned Southern friend Katie.  We went out to eat one night and Katie let me look thorough her wide variety of hats and pick one to wear to dinner.  I was loving life.

I'm sure everyone who saw me thought to themselves...

"Wow... that girl looks great in that hat.  She should always wear hats.  Good thing she lives in the south where it is acceptable to wear them and not in Minnesota where the majority of people only wear hats because it's so stinkin' cold.  She'd stand out like a sore thumb there.  Gooood thing she lives here in Georgia."

I'm SURE they were all thinking just that.  Unfortunately I do live in Minnesota.  And I don't like to stand out like a sore thumb.  Even if it is a very cute sore thumb with an over sized bow on it.

So COME ON Minnesotans!  Break out some hats!!!  Let's make it happen :)  I know you all like them... we just have to do this TOGETHER!
