Baby boy swaddled and snoozing on my left
Baby girl upstairs snoozing in her crib
2 empty bowls, and an empty cheesecake container to my right (don't judge... I'm nursing)
Glee Season 1 (Netflix Instant Watch) on my TV
Now that we all can picture my night... let's begin with the technicallyaweekdayday!
Friday
The kids and I took a little walk to our neighborhood CVS to pick up a couple pictures that we had printed for Ryan's first package. Then, since we were out, we took a little detour to the park near our house for a photoshoot for my home school blog post some playtime for Peyton
and nap time for Vandis.
After our time at the park, my mom, sister, and brother (who were running errands in the area) stopped by and watched the kids for a minute while I ran out to mail Ryan's first package... which was really confusing and ended up taking more than a minute.
Dave Ramsey taught our little group all about investing money once we have it... it was very informative! Also, we learned that one of our group members, Dan, does parkour... which is so cool.
Saturday
My mom and mother in law planned a baby shower (post-baby obviously) for me and Vandis. I got so many CUUUTE things for my little guy... we are so blessed. Here are some pictures from the party. Thanks Ana for taking pictures!
After the shower Peyton and Vandis needed naps in their own beds so we headed home and a couple friends came over. Jillian sees Vandis all the time, but Laytion haden't met him yet... and she was lovin' him!
And Peyton was loving the nacho cheese.
And I was loving the fact that I finally finished one of the four ottomans I have been working on for FOREVER! Amen!
Thanks for the help Pey!
Sunday
Mmmm church! The Holy Spirit is-a-movin' at Edinbrook Church people! I am excited to see the transformations that are taking place in the hearts of people at my church as well as the one in my own... praise the Lord!
After church we had an impromptu lunch at Denny's with Grandma and Grandpa Heineman... Grandpa was having Vandis and Peyton withdrawls, so we had to fix that!
We got home, and the kids took naps while I had some "me time"... so good! We headed out to a friend's house for dinner and hairstyling after waking up from nap time. Chelsea is going to her Seinor Prom on Saturday, so we had a little run though with her hair to make sure everything would work out right for the BIG DAY! I went to 4 Proms in highschool... and have so many fun memories from all of them! My favorite date was my Seinor year with my now husband/then friend hottie patottie date Ryan.
How cute are we?!?!
That is a boy in LOVE right there!
That was a slight detour from the weekend recap... but I couldn't help it :)
I hope your weekend was uh-mazing!!! Have a happy happy Monday friends!

Yeah for the Ottoman, can hardly wait to see it.
How could Ryan not be in love. He had a beautiful girl on his arm that night. He was a lucky guy than and he is a lucky guy now! :)
