Celebrating Erika, The Bachelorette

On Friday night I met up with a fun group of girls to celebrate our friend Erika who is getting married in just 3 weeks. Her husband-to-be has been gone for the past 2 months in training for the Marines.  We have been "feeling each other's pain" during the summer and I am so excited that she gets to see her man in just 2 short weeks!  Our Bachelorette Night - O - Fun (planned out by the bride-to-be's sister, thanks Hannah!) started out with dinner at Chino Latino.

I wanted to let you in on the name of my drink, but I was not about to type those words on my blog!  (Though it would direct some interesting traffic, don't ya think?) It came as a regular Mojito and had "vials of flavor" to add... so funny!

After dinner we went shopping for a bit because we we're already in Uptown... so why not!?  I got a cute dress on sale, which is always fun :) On the walk back to the car we saw this great chandelier and even though it is major off topic, I'm going to post a picture of it.  I think I'll be adding it on Pinterest tonight :) 

Not the best picture... but wouldn't it be GREAT in a fancy pants dining room?  Possibly even a fun DIY project for all you creative types out there :)  Let me know if you have any great ideas for how to pull it off.

After dinner and shopping, we headed back to Erika's house for more food and presents.

This sexy little bride got many sexy little things that are inappropriate for this blog... which is how it should be :)

 Erika, I have loved getting to spend so much time with you these past few months and I am so happy that you are getting married to such a great guy!  I feel blessed to know you both, and I can't wait to celebrate with you on August 26th!  Love you!!!
