Weekend Recap

Friday

On Friday I wanted to celebrate the last non-rainy day in the 5 day forecast by taking a trip to the zoo.

Peyton, Vandis and I decided to invite some others as well.

My mom, brothers Isaac and Micah, and MIL all joined us on this BEAUTIFUL day.

Vandis was awake this time around... so fun :)

The grandmas were loving time with their grandchildren.

And Peyton was LOVING the attention!

As well as all the animals. 

Such a great way to start out the weekend.

On Friday night my small group learned about mortgages from our dear friend Dave Ramsey and then stayed on topic with our discussion about politics.  Well maybe not so much on topic... but it's ok.

Prom Hair!!!

This cute girl is my brother's girlfriend's cousin.  She is also in my small group at youth group!

And here are the hairstylists, Jillan and myself.  Clearly we are to be trusted.  Look at our lovley locks.  It's a wonder they even let us touch their hair!

After hairstyling I took my babies home and had Jillian and Erika over to work on a new Project for ALIVE.  We were incredibly productive and finished what we needed to work on!  Go team!

Happy Mother's Day to all you mommies and mommies to be out there!  Especially to my momma and my momma in law.  You are both great examples to me. Peyton and Vandis can't get enough of either of you.  We love you so much!
