Speggtacular time with my Family

The angel spoke to the women: "There is nothing to fear here. I know you're looking for Jesus, the One they nailed to the cross. He is not here. He was raised, just as he said. Come and look at the place where he was placed. "Now, get on your way quickly and tell his disciples, 'He is risen from the dead. He is going on ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there.' That's the message."

Matthew 28:5-7

I just googled the reason for dying eggs on Easter, because...

I am a Christian, and an Easter activity should have some spiritual meaning, right?!

I didn't find anything really legit sounding.

Tonight my mom, dad, sister, and 2 of 3 brothers came over to decorate Easter eggs.

We spent time laughing...

Being creative...

Making a mess...

And enjoying time with one another.

So, maybe it wasn't "religious".

And maybe some people think it takes away from the true meaning of Easter...

That JESUS IS RISEN!

Maybe you have never even thought about why we color eggs, and you really just wanted to see these pictures... That's cool.

But for me... The reason I decorated Easter eggs this year...

Maybe wasn't so much "religious"...

As is was about spending quality time with my family...

And I think Jesus would totally support that.
