Have you ever heard of the 5 Love Languages? They are not just for married people, these are just 5 categories of ways that people show they love each other and feel that they are loved. Usually the way that you show love is the same way that you like to be loved. The five ways are as follows...
Words of Affirmation
Quality Time
Receiving Gifts
Acts of Service
Physical Touch
Ryan and I don't really line up with our love languages... his top ones being Acts of Service and Words of Affirmation and my top ones being Quality Time and Receiving Gifts.... But that's another Blog post... for another day.
Tonight I got to experience my tippity top love language... Quality Time with my girls from BSF! We, in the Christian world like to call hanging out with other Christians "fellowship"... 'cuz we're cool like that! We enjoyed time fellowshipping with each other over some delicious food, thanks to of all of us (minus me... I just supplied the beverages). Laughter was sprinkled in through the whole night... just the way we like it!
Make sure to leave time in your life to ENJOY QUALITY TIME (even if it's not your tippity top love language) with good people in your life. Trust me, you need it! You will be encouraged and refreshed... and you will encourage and refresh others. Fellowship is just my favorite... and tonight for me, was needed. Thank you BSF girls, I am thankful for you all!
